Babies and Paint balls and Stress

The weather's been really nice these few days and for this week's Prefect meeting on Thursday, we held it outside while sitting on the grass. I spotted quite a lot of rabbit poo and was hence feeling rather uncomfortable throughout the whole meeting. Hahaha.

Days are longer and nights are shorter. It can be 9pm and yet still not completely dark. Awesome. The other day, we had our Psychology class outside as well. Everyone's just taking in the great weather. Summerrrrrrrrrrr!


So we haven't had archery for really long and yesterday we finally went back to it. It was really bright and sunny.

Mr Astill's wife brought their son, William along and he is so adorable. Except he frowns non-stop and only smiles at his mother. 

He was a major distraction and I couldn't really concentrate once he arrived. All I wanted to do was play with him. Hahaha.






Today, we went paint-balling! It was alright I guess.

And there was only one colour: bird poo white

Anyway, it's about 2 weeks to the start of my exams. Stressed is not even enough to describe how I'm feeling. 

Media - clueless about the different representations and how to fit examples & theories into my essay.

Dance & Psychology - can't remember all the things that I need to remember.

Maths - S1 is just killing me.

I'm Seventeen

Another year older. The age that just seems so awkward to me. 17.

Well, on Thursday, we had a batch dinner and my dearest friends decided to surprise me with an early birthday cake.

Honestly, what am I to do without them. The best bunch of people I've ever met. Thank you guys for everything.


I wasn't particularly looking forward to today (or yesterday - depending which time zone you're in). Having a birthday away from everyone you love, everyone who loves you... What's the point, really. And it didn't even feel like it was my birthday today. Everything was just so... Normal.

I miss my friends back home. The way we celebrate birthdays. The love you'd feel on that day.

Yes, they did sent me birthday messages and I'm so touched by all the Instagram dedications.
